12/31/16 (End of the year edition)

You got your wish George.

Rest in peace Carrie Fisher and your mom as well.

2016 has been an amazing roller coaster of highs and lows. What more can I say?

So the year ends with Obama making a fool of himself and a bunch of celebrities passing... I can't say I'm surprised at Carrie Fisher and George Michael. Someone stated that this was cold to say so but its more about cautionary tales from my point of view. Both were notorious for consuming massive amounts of drugs and George like to have sex with random strangers in public parks over the years, infer from that what you will. What a waste of their God given talents. George was an incredible singer (I still have a few of his post-Wham albums) and while I thought Carrie was no great shakes on the big screen (and this is from a sci-fi fan!) she was well known for being a good script doctor in Hollywood and having a wicked sense of humor. RIP

Myself there have been changes in jobs, less money but more sanity.

Lots of work around the house and some family turmoil. Currently I'm doing a bit of job training, maybe changing jobs again, maybe not. Extra training always looks good on the resume! Been working on cleaning out a lot of clutter around the house and garage to simplify my life as much as possible. Maybe in 2017 the Dart and Reliant will finally be worked on, have to wait and see. Just finished refurbishing several things on the snow blower, knowing my luck it won't snow this year! chuckle.

Been tinkering around with some arcade stuff too, mostly prep to clearance the stuff out and making space but keeping one cabinet with a MAME unit on board.

Too much clutter.

I pray for a better 2017 and all the blessings for my visitors, thanks for dropping in.

Gary

You have to admit, Donald sure has a sense of humor.

Exactly so as evidenced by video shown above, smart girl. Hollywood loved Trump.

Now? Not so much.

Russians have sense of humor as well.

Obama is a laughing stock around the world, now more so.

No surprise to anyone watching the narcissistic fool for the last 8 years.

Russia refuses to rise to Obama's attempts to fuel Cold War II or WWIII

Putin shows more class in a single tweet than Obama did in 8 years.

Treason? Pretty selective memory there George. I can cite several dozen acts of treason Obama could be charged with and you and your liberal buddies are silent as the grave. Now Trump praises Putin for not engaging in a new cold war *started by the United States under Obama* and you wish to shriek treason? Shut the hell up and sit down asshat, we grow tired of your bullshit.

Speaking of treason, perhaps you should tweet about Hanoi Jane.

Treason. Giving aid to the enemy in time of war.

2016: The Year of the SJW Double Down

"Everywhere I looked this year they doubled down on their lies whenever and where ever they were smacked in the face with the truth. This is the end product of a world view that values good feelz over facts. Trained to communicate strictly in emotions, conflicting facts became something SJWs mentally trained themselves to wall off as near as I can tell by third grade. When I was a kid, third grade was about the age that teachers started to come down on you if you replied to a given fact with a, "Nu-uh!" Now, the "Nu-uh" appears to be viewed as a healthy form of self-expression in support of "The Narrative." The Narrative is a palace of lies they have built for themselves made of soggy paper mache. As such it is in constant need of maintenance. Yet they have built their lives around this weakest of structures."

Raging liberal Anthony Bourdain Takes Down The ‘Privileged Left’

"The utter contempt with which privileged Eastern liberals such as myself discuss red-state, gun-country, working-class America as ridiculous and morons and rubes is largely responsible for the upswell of rage and contempt and desire to pull down the temple that we’re seeing now. I’ve spent a lot of time in gun-country, God-fearing America. There are a hell of a lot of nice people out there, who are doing what everyone else in this world is trying to do: the best they can to get by, and take care of themselves and the people they love. When we deny them their basic humanity and legitimacy of their views, however different they may be than ours, when we mock them at every turn, and treat them with contempt, we do no one any good. Nothing nauseates me more than preaching to the converted. The self-congratulatory tone of the privileged left—just repeating and repeating and repeating the outrages of the opposition—this does not win hearts and minds. It doesn’t change anyone’s opinions. It only solidifies them, and makes things worse for all of us. We should be breaking bread with each other, and finding common ground whenever possible. I fear that is not at all what we’ve done.

Mike King writes:

The subversive war on the institutions of marriage and family has been raging for decades, and with devastating results. But this war on sexual identity strikes even deeper. You see, normal men are not attracted to butchy manly women; and normal women are not attracted to girly boys. By tampering with natural roles — transgender confusion being the most extreme manifestation — the Globalists are screwing up the minds and spirits of our young people so badly that most of them will never attract (beyond the momentarily physical, if even that) and get married in the first place. Loneliness, alienation, depression and state servitude await the vast majority of millennial and subsequent generations to follow — and it is all by design.

Girl has the voice of an angel.. beautifully done.

Pray for my daughter this Christmas... she has lost her way.

12/24/16 (Fake News Edition)

How CNN describes Islamic Terrorism, a truck crash.

CNN fakes the news all the time and has been doing it for years.

Good question eh? Russians have to be laughing their ass off.

Is there nothing Vlad cannot do?

Awkward.

Tell me again how tolerant liberals and progressives are? I'm not seeing it.

Bring back dueling, you would see this shit stop immediately.

12/13/16

Around the house the last month... lots of work on the truck so its in top shape for 2017 (rust repair, new fuel tank straps and filler, trans service and shift kit, LOF) .. the garage clean out continues (downsizing via Ebay, the dump, Craigslist and forums) just too much clutter as I get older.. still have plans to get started on the Reliant in the spring. Rampage had some oil leaks fixed... Jacob's 87 Shadow is on the road and doing well after some final repairs... Did I mention our well pump died? Always something... and the cloths dryer is on its last legs too. Santa bringing Momma a new one for Christmas.. Making some progress though, slow but sure.

You died far too young my friend, rest in peace.

Get over it, Clinton lost in a landslide.

The gift that keeps on giving...The tears...

Never. Gets. Old.

How true.

The mainstream media continues to beclown themselves...

Yes indeed.. hows that $600,000 beachfront house Bernie? Nice payoff. Speaking of puppets..

Jill exposed as a Hillary agent pretty clearly at this point.

Love how the recount showed massive DEMOCRAT voter fraud in MI and the courts shut it down right quick.

Modern liberals in a nutshell.

The look on her face is priceless.

Actions have consequences cupcake, even on the upper west side.

1) Election follow up; Trump picking some excellent people for his cabinet, leftists in a lather. Good. We might actually have a good shot at cleaning up the mess in Washington as long as Trump isn't undercut but the globalists in the GOP. Paul Ryan clearly needs to go.

He was nothing more than a murdering tyrant.

2) Castro dead; Good.

3) Jill Stein; Clearly the woman is a plant for Hillary, how come you are not doing recounts in states that Hillary won by razor thin margins Jill? I see, I see. Soros money hard at work again.  The tweet about Castro is all you need to know about her mindset.. A raging dictator responsible for countless deaths on his hands and you have nothing to say about that.

Here is what Donald J. Trump had to say on that subject.

“Today, the world marks the passing of a brutal dictator who oppressed his own people for nearly six decades,” Trump said in a statement released on the news of Castro’s death Saturday.

“Fidel Castro’s legacy is one of firing squads, theft, unimaginable suffering, poverty and the denial of fundamental human rights,” Trump said.

“While Cuba remains a totalitarian island, it is my hope that today marks a move away from the horrors endured for too long, and toward a future in which the wonderful Cuban people finally live in the freedom they so richly deserve,”

4) Duster; Back on the road with the 3.55's. I put the old gears back in so the car is mobile again, lots on my plate. Two sets of Motive gear were junk, I know have a set of Richmond 3.90's but no time to setup and install them. I will just have to wait till things are less hectic to put them in.

Daddy must be so proud.

11/10/16

Well October has been a pretty rough month.. but man what an election.

Start draining the swamp Donald.

Get over it.

We had to put up with a red doper diaper baby for 8 years.

10/8/16

The CSX #193 page has been updated with race pictures, video and results.

It did not cover itself in glory this weekend is all I have to say.

The 1971 Sebring has been sold so moved into the former rides section.

Waiting on a replacement ring and pinion for the Duster, first one went bad in just a few miles! Excellent quality control. Just superb.

Been a stressful weekend for a number of reasons..

9/30/16

GTX page has been updated with track info, pictures and video!

9/24/16

How was your weekend? Mine was GREAT!

8/30/16

Been a busy month- GTX is almost track ready, Duster is getting prepped (lots to do there! Trans freshened up, new axle ratio, rear main seal) and the CSX is going too.. Stay tuned..

Quotes..

1) “If humans are incapable of describing the distinctive aroma of coffee, how can they cope with something as subtle as God?- Ludwig Wittgenstein”

2) "If there were a Nobel prize for hypocrisy, then its first recipient ought to be Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook boss. On 23 August, all his 1.7 billion users were greeted by this message: ‘Celebrating 25 years of connecting people. The web opened up to the world 25 years ago today! We thank Sir Tim Berners-Lee and other internet pioneers for making the world more open and connected.‘ Aw, isn’t that nice? From one “pioneer” to another. What a pity, then, that it is a combination of bullshit and hypocrisy…. It’s not the inaccuracy that grates, however, but the hypocrisy.

Zuckerberg thanks Berners-Lee for ‘making the world more open and connected’. So do I. What Zuck conveniently omits to mention, though, is that he is embarked upon a commercial project whose sole aim is to make the world more 'connected’ but less open. Facebook is what we used to call a “walled garden” and now call a silo: a controlled space in which people are allowed to do things that will amuse them while enabling Facebook to monetise their data trails. One network to rule them all. If you wanted a vision of the opposite of the open web, then Facebook is it."-  John Naughton

3) Character contributes to beauty. It fortifies a woman as her youth fades. A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude, and integrity can do a great deal to make a woman beautiful.- Jacqueline Bisset

My friend Bill will be greatly missed.

New London - William Hodgen Ezell, 89, who in the 1960s through the 1980s made significant contributions to submarine silencing, died on Aug. 13, 2016.

Mr. Ezell was born in Long Beach, Calif., Oct. 9, 1926, son of Lillian May Hodgen and William Robert Ezell, an Alabama plantation owner.

His former wife, Virginia, and daughter, Tina-Lee, predeceased him.

He developed a love of music at an early age in Pasadena, Calif., where he was a boy soprano soloist in the famed 200 member Pasadena Boys Choir. His love of music continued in his college days at Occidental College and the Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and Choir as tenor soloist. He was a tenor soloist with St. James Church in New London for 20 years.

Mr. Ezell was a 1946 graduate marine engineer from the California Maritime Academy and served with the Merchant Marines as well as the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS McNair (Mighty Mac) DD679 as engineering officer. He was also a graduate of the University of Connecticut. Mr. Ezell joined Electric Boat/General Dynamics in 1954, and was one of the first few new engineers and scientists at the newly formed Research & Development Department. Because of his interest in sound and music and marine engineering, he was allowed to be a free thinker and encouraged to be innovative and often used novel techniques in his approach to submarine silencing. He expanded the group with many talented engineers and scientists and became chief of the Sound and Vibration Department at EB. This department made very significant contributions to the stealth of submarines which gave the United States a great advantage in naval sea power during the Cold War. His leadership and efforts were paramount in achieving these results.

He retired from EB/GD in 1987 having worked on the Nautilus, Seawolf, Skipjack, Scorpion, George Washington, Narwhal and the later SSN 688 class submarines in the quieting and sonar improvement areas and later in more classified silencing work. After his retirement from EB, he worked for Bolt, Beranek & Newman as a consultant, and in 1991 he was elected a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America.

He is survived by many close friends and especially his longtime faithful friend that he fondly often referred to as "Sonar".

Thanks for the laughter Gene, you were a character.

8/7/16

Challenger page updated with track video and CSX page updated with 4 new pictures.

8/6/16

Challenger page is up!

7/24/16

1) The pages for both CSX 193 and 561 have been massively updated! Been very busy working on both cars the last month (hence the lack of updates) Lots of work to both vehicles and CSX 193 has 4 new pictures from the Cecil race event last November.

Lots of heavy work polishing up both cars!

2) Going to do a Challenger page in the near future, pictures of the old and new daily ride. The 2012 has been updated with stripes and some other additions..

3) Trump- As expected he cinched the GOP nomination, no real opinion of his running mate. My initial reaction is the guy was chosen like a business man would choose a vice president.. Somewhat quiet, competent, experienced, knows the ropes, etc. Hillary's running mate... already the jokes are flying thick and fast.... almost like the guy was chosen to piss off every democrat party special interest group.... live by the special interest group, die by them too. Trump is doing a masterful job of appealing to the "blue dog / working class" democrats which in all honesty is getting smaller by the minute as the dems replace them with illegal aliens.

6/27/16

CSX 561 page has been updated.

Congratulations on Britain voting to leave the failing European Union, they are the first but are sure to not be the last. It was bound to fail in time but Merkel really planted the seeds of destruction and hurried events along.

6/23/16

Busy month! Let roll on with the updates!

1) CSX 561

Lots of work being done on Kyle's CSX this month and it is almost roadworthy! Repacked the rear wheel bearings, replaced the rear shocks, replaced the front wheel bearings and a caliper, bunch of dash wiring, new door panels, balanced the tires, fixed a CV joint boot. Car needs another day or two worth of work and the major work is complete and then Kyle can polish as he sees fit. As a surprise I installed a new windshield Shelby decal when he was at work, not the right one but inexpensive enough.

1) CSX 193

The dash on my CSX was replaced with a non-warped unit and some other changes were made to the interior like new seats, door panels, speakers and extra insulation on the firewall while I had the dash out. This week I'm going to replace the A/C lines, struts and a few other odds and ends.

2) Challenger

My 2014 V6 Challenger was a great daily driver for the last two years but I REALLY wanted a Hemi Challenger with a stick. The chance arose last weekend and I traveled down to North Carolina and traded in my old ride from a 2012 R/T with 39,000 the clock. The trip down and back was uneventful and even though I'm sad to let my first new car go (with only 13,000 miles on it) I'm satisfied that I made the right call. The new car is a hoot! Some of the quirks that bothered me with the 2014 V6 Challenger are totally absent on the 2012 R/T. The steering is not twitchy but solid and measured and you don't have to babysit the steering wheel to make sure the car is tracking true. Brakes are confident and solid, Radio is a litter better quality.

Meet the new boss, NOT the same as the old boss.

6/9/16

Ann Coulter sticks a foot up everyone's ass this week:

Annoyed at federal judge Gonzalo P. Curiel's persistent rulings against him in the Trump University case (brought by a law firm that has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches by Bill and Hillary), Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said that maybe it's because the judge is a second-generation Mexican immigrant. The entire media -- and most of the GOP -- have spent 10 months telling us that Mexicans in the United States are going to HATE Trump for saying he'll build a wall. Now they're outraged that Trump thinks one Mexican hates him for saying he'll build a wall. Curiel has distributed scholarships to illegal aliens. He belongs to an organization that sends lawyers to the border to ensure that no illegal aliens' "human rights" are violated. The name of the organization? The San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association -- "La Raza" meaning THE RACE. Let's pause to imagine the nomination hearings for a white male who belonged to any organization for white people -- much less one with the words "THE RACE" in its title. The media were going to call Trump a racist whatever he did, and his attack on a Hispanic judge is way better than when they said it was racist for Republicans to talk about Obama’s golfing. Has anyone ever complained about the ethnicity of white judges or white juries? I've done some research and it turns out ... THAT'S ALL WE'VE HEARD FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS.

The New York Times alone has published hundreds of articles, editorials, op-eds, movie reviews, sports articles and crossword puzzles darkly invoking "white judges" and "all-white" juries, as if that is ipso facto proof of racist justice. Two weeks ago -- that's not an error; I didn't mean to type "decades" and it came out "weeks" -- the Times published an op-ed by a federal appeals judge stating: "All-white juries risk undermining the perception of justice in minority communities, even if a mixed-race jury would have reached the same verdict or imposed the same sentence." In other words, even when provably not unfair, white jurors create the "perception" of unfairness solely by virtue of the color of their skin.

Innocence Project co-founder Barry Scheck's entire career of springing criminals would be gone if it were generally accepted that we can't question judges or juries based on race or ethnicity. Writing about the release of Glenn Ford, a black man convicted of robbing a jewelry store and murdering the owner, Scheck claimed that one of the most important factors in Ford's death sentence was the "all-white jury." On the other hand, the evidence against Ford included: His two black friends telling police he'd shown them jewelry the day of the murder, another Ford acquaintance swearing he'd had a .38 in his waistband -- the murder weapon was a .38 -- and the gunshot residue on Ford's hand. His conviction was overturned many years later, on the theory that his black friends had committed the murder, then framed him.

So we know 1) the "real killers" were also black; and 2) any jury would have convicted Ford on that evidence.

Here's how the Times described Ford's trial: "A black man convicted of murder by an all-white jury in Louisiana in 1984 and sentenced to die, tapped into an equally old and painful vein of race." I have approximately 1 million more examples of the media going mental about a "white judge" or "all-white jury," and guess what? In none of them were any of the white people involved members of organizations dedicated to promoting white people, called "THE RACE." Say, does anyone remember if it ever came up that the Ferguson police force was all white? Someone check that.

I don’t want to upset you New York Times editorial board, but perhaps we should revisit the results of the Nuremberg trials. Those were presided over by – TRIGGER WARNING! – “all white” juries. (How do we really know if Hermann Göring was guilty without hearing women's and Latino voices?)

The model of a fair jury was the O.J. trial. Nine blacks, one Hispanic and two whites, who had made up their minds before the lawyers' opening statements. (For my younger readers: O.J. was guilty; the jury acquitted him after 20 seconds of deliberation.) At the end of the trial, one juror gave O.J. the black power salute. Nothing to see here. It was Mark Fuhrman's fault! In defiance of everyday experience, known facts and common sense, we are all required to publicly endorse the left's religious belief that whites are always racist, but women and minorities are incapable of any form of bias. If you say otherwise, well, that's "textbook racism," according to Paul Ryan. At least when we're talking about American blacks, there's a history of white racism, so the double standard is not so enraging. What did we ever do to Mexicans? Note to Hispanics, Muslims, women, immigrants and gays: You're not black.

Other than a few right-wingers, no one denounced now-sitting Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor for her "wise Latina" speech, in which she said "our gender and national origins may and will make a difference in our judging." But Trump is a "racist" for saying the same thing. Six months ago, a Times editorial demanded that the Republican Senate confirm Obama judicial nominee Luis Felipe Restrepo, on the grounds that "[a]s a Hispanic," Restrepo would bring "ethnic ... diversity to the court."

You see how confusing this is. On one hand, it's vital that we have more women and Latinos on the courts because white men can't be trusted to be fair. But to suggest that women and Latinos could ever be unfair in the way that white men can, well, that's "racist." The effrontery of this double standard is so blinding, that the only way liberals can bluff their way through it is with indignation. DO I HEAR YOU RIGHT? ARE YOU SAYING A JUDGE'S ETHNICITY COULD INFLUENCE HIS DECISIONS? (Please, please, please don't bring up everything we've said about white judges and juries for the past four decades.)

They're betting they can intimidate Republicans -- and boy, are they right!

The entire Republican Brain Trust has joined the media in their denunciations of Trump for his crazy idea that anyone other than white men can be biased. That's right, Wolf, I don't have any common sense. Would it help if the GOP donated to Hillary? The NeverTrump crowd is going to get a real workout if they plan to do this every week between now and the election. What do Republicans think they're getting out of this appeasement? Proving to voters that elected Republicans are pathetic, impotent media suck-ups is, surprisingly, not hurting Trump.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice, you are not forgotten.

Been a busy 4 day weekend for me! House repairs, general cleaning, organizing parts, work on Kyle's CSX (rear shocks, packed the rear wheel bearings, balanced the tires) worked on my own CSX (fixed the horn) worked on Jacob's Shadow (did I mention we picked up another car?) new TPS and investigated a vacuum leak, fixed the lawn mower, fixed the rear tailgate on the Rampage, purchased wood trim for the garage, new fencing for the front yard, went for a motorcycle ride with Leah.. whew. And we went to a party!

Assembling of the fleet.

My friends party is yuge! Dozens of cars show up, we were there early and had a great time catching up with friends and enjoying the great food. Sometime in the late afternoon the "burning of the tires" commenced out front as the guests started to head for the exits..

Faith was driving the Duster and left in a fairly restrained manner.

Custom dictated I would not.

As the rowdiest Mopar present, exit duties fell to the GTX whom did not disappoint the crowd.

The evidence continues to pile up.. DUMP FACEBOOK

The Daytona was an '88 Shelby Z that was rotted out bad... I don't think there was anything on the body shell that wasn't badly crusted. A number of parts from the car ended up on my son's CSX including the front seats, tracks and a bunch of bits from the engine bay like motor mounts, alternator, solenoids, brackets, etc. We saved as much as we could.

The Dart was a crazy optioned 1975 4-dr with rear frame damage. I have never see a car with so many options! 318 with A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, sway bar, rear defrost, map lights, deluxe dash and interior, stainless trim, tint windows, AM/FM radio, fuel pacer warning lamp, cruise control. I'm sure I missed one or two options too. The drivetrain is going in my friends early Barracuda and the k-member and disc brake front end is going in my Dart. Again we saved as much as possible to help other people out as these cars are not growing on trees in the yards anymore. Even went as far as to save all the nuts and bolts removed and have the front clip too.

Been busy doing "housecleaning" of excess vehicles so I can get started on the Dart and the boys cars again. Two parts cars are going away and a spare CSX is going to Canada at the end of the month.

Kyle's CSX will be moving along to the next stage of repairs and we picked up a '87 Dodge Shadow for Jacob that needs some minor repairs. It just has 45,000 miles on it! Going to swap some interior pieces over to my CSX, do the repairs (brakes, radiator, TPS sensor) and then it will be his first car.

Subject: Only in America

Canadian's Version of David Letterman's Top 10. Just makes you want to shake your head in disbelief, and, just maybe choke someone in charge.

This is Canada 's Top Ten List of America 's Stupidity. Of course we look like the idiots we are!

#10 Only in America ... could politicians talk about the greed of the rich at a $35,000.00 per plate Obama and Clinton campaign fund-raising event.

#09 Only in America... could people claim that the government still discriminates against black Americans when they have a black President, a black Attorney General and roughly 20% of the federal workforce is black while only 13% of the population is black, 40+% of all federal entitlements goes to black Americans - 3X the rate that go to whites, 5X the rate that go to Hispanics!

#08 Only in America... could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Sec. Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Rep. Charles Rangel, NYS (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

#07 Only in America... can they have terrorists kill people in the name of Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims might be harmed by the backlash.

#06 Only in America.. would they make people who want to legally become American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens of thousands of dollars for the privilege, while they discuss letting anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just 'magically' become American citizens. (probably should be number one)

#05 Only in America ... could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country's Constitution be called EXTREMISTS.

#04 Only in America ... could you need to present a driver's license to cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

#03 Only in America... could people demand the government investigate whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. Oil company (Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes (Nike).

#02 Only in America... could you collect more tax dollars from the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a Trillion dollars more than it has per year - for total spending of $7 Million PER MINUTE, and complain that it doesn't have nearly enough money.

#01 Only in America.... could the rich people - who pay 86% of all income taxes - be accused of not paying their "fair share" by people who don't pay any income taxes at all.

Hillary and The Burn sure have us "Commoners" figured for FOOLS....

Quote of the day.

“The most erroneous assumption is to the effect that the aim of public education is to fill the young of the species with knowledge and awaken their intelligence, and so make them fit to discharge the duties of citizenship in an enlightened and independent manner. Nothing could be further from the truth. The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to put down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States, whatever the pretensions of politicians, pedagogues and other such mountebanks, and that is its aim everywhere else.”  H.L. Mencken

More Facebook censorship come to light..

"Potentially a bigger scandal (because it affects more people) is the accusation that Facebook censors individual member pages, blogs, smaller media outlets, and discussion groups reflecting a conservative point of view. Sometimes, the sites are shut down, sometimes they are simply threatened into silence."

Lets roll on with the updates..

1) Gamer Gate

Most folks have never heard of "Gamer Gate" or at best have heard half truths spouted by the liberal media. The truth long and short is that the liberal media infested game review magazines and game review sites starting attacking gamers and gaming companies who did not toe the liberal media / social justice whore party line! I kid you not. Your one job is to review games and you FAILED. There was a massive pushback by gamers which is continuing to this day.

Operation Icy Blizzard documents more than 400+ cases of corruption in the gaming media industry. Check it out and demand non-biased gaming coverage!

2) CSX 561 has hit the road!

So after getting the car in the garage this morning ahead of another endless rainstorm,  we installed the exhaust, shifted the fuel tank over an inch or two for extra clearance, modified the '88 Daytona seat tracks for use in an 87 P-body and installed the drivers seat, set the timing, replaced the master cylinder, bled the brakes and pointed the car down the driveway for its maiden voyage.. She is a little squirrelly going down the road (I assume the alignment wasn't done when the car was upgraded to 89 double pivot k-member and control arms) and we have what sounds like a wheel bearing making some racket.. but otherwise a complete success! The car runs well, the transmission shifts good and is quiet and the brakes mostly work (still have to burn off more rust.)

Stuff to do in the near future- Align, inspect and replace bearings and pack rears, install a radio and speakers, find a passenger door speaker grill, glue the mirror to the windshield, replace a CV Joint clamp, install the swaybar, replace some bulbs in the dash and check the turn signal lamp connections. Stay tuned for more updates..

Happy Mothers Day!

I keep hearing more and more little stories about the generous stuff Trump has done over the years... From odd corners of the internet. My ears are well tuned for bullsh*t detections and none of it smells of astroturfing. Donald has always been a generous guy, period.

News article from 1991 or 1992.

Helps sick child get to hospital by loaning private jet... in 1988.

"The private Boeing 727 of real estate tycoon Donald Trump arrived from Los Angeles at LaGuardia Airport Tuesday morning, carrying aboard an Orthodox Jewish child with a rare and still undiagnosed breathing illness. Trump made his plane available for the special trip to New York after the boy’s parents, Judy and Harold Ten, called Trump and told him of their plight. Commercial airlines refused to fly the child because he could not travel without an elaborate life-support system, which includes a portable oxygen tank, a suction machine, a breathing bag and an adrenaline syringe. “Mr. Trump did not hesitate when we called him up. He said ‘yes, I’ll send my plane out,’” 29-year-old Harold Ten recalled shortly after he landed here Tuesday morning."

Donald Trump: Bus Driver Who Saved Woman a 'Great Guy,' Gives Him $10K(2013)

"When Donald Trump heard about the New York bus driver who stopped a woman from jumping off a bridge last month, the real estate mogul decided to send the man $10,000 for his good deed."

Donald Trump Quietly Helped Marine Whom Obama Ignored

"In a little-publicized act of kindness, it has been reported that Donald Trump gave financial support to Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the soldier held in a Mexican jail for 214 days. Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren told her audience about the charitable effort on behalf of Mr. Trump, but also added this point about the President — he “wouldn’t even pick up the phone to help.”

Trump Saved a Georgia Farm (1986)

"Leonard Dozier Hill III, a third-generation farmer, shot himself to death the day his family farm was set to be auctioned off. He had hoped to have his life insurance policy pay off the debt, but, like most such policies, it didn't cover suicide. If the Trump campaign is smart, it will bring up the story as the "SEC Primary" of southeastern states approaches on March 1, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution advises. Trump intervened. Help raise the money to pay off the farm and flew the family to New York where they held a mortgage burning ceremony. Though Trump initially tried to be anonymous, word got out, so he used his media flair to draw attention to the family's plight."

There are many other stories of good deeds Donald has done over the years if people would just care to look. He is notorious for being generous to friends, families, employees and random strangers who were down on their luck or he spotted doing something nice.

His public persona grates on some people but is no surprise to me, perhaps because I'm from the New England area. New Yorker City personalities typically have a very bombastic outgoing personality which describes Donald to a T. People fall for it hook, line and sinker but the facade hides someone far more complex.

My personal opinion is that Donald has the view that America really is a great nation (which also made him great) and sees it in decline and wants to do something about it. Closer to home if he can get into office and help reverse the decline then it will leave the nation a better place for his children and grandchildren which if you know anything about Donald he cares very much about. It would be a fascinating capstone to his career as a real estate mogul, builder of skyscrapers (120+), self made media star and father.

"The reaction of the leftist GOPe elites shows how far detached from reality they are. They say Trump isn't a conservative yet he is the first candidate since Buchanan to oppose extermination of the natives through mass migration and to favor a more isolationist foreign policy. They say he must be resisted at all costs yet rolled over for every far left policy of a half Kenyan Marxist. They say Trump is unelectable yet have consistently picked losers. They say they need to expand the party yet complain when it is done by bringing in the white working class instead of pandering to foreigners and women. And every step of the way they demonstrate their acceptance of the left's premises and characterization of the debate."

Quiet so: Detached from reality is a very good description on how the GOP relates to the American people. It isn't happening to us in Washington D.C. so shut up and vote for who we pick for you. Never mind that those chosen candidates and policies are making life a living hell for you and your family.

Geek stuff.

"What is weird about all this as that in the entire spectrum of the culture wars a group of scifi nerds, fantasy geeks and video game enthusiasts are winning......they are actually taking ground back from the left and they aren't stopping for sh$t...these guys take scalps, burn their enemies bodies, and p!ss on their ashes and move on to the next target of total annihilation.. they are unmerciful and brutal.........beautiful...many people on the right should take notice...this is a case study in winning and what winning is......something the right sorely needs to learn...."

I stand with Vox Day, you should too.

If the GOP fought Obama as hard as they fight against Trump Obama would have never been in office.

You know its true.

Congratulations to Donald Trump for his 5 state sweep on Tuesday. I expect more shenanigans from the GOP before its all said and done.

GOP? Burn it down and go to hell.

As I get older I find this to be true more and more, the evidence is indisputable.

Interesting after I posted this picture,  this article popped up:

"One of the more obvious aspects of the modern lynch mob is it is almost always composed of women. Sure, there will be men tagging along, maybe throwing in some shots of their own, but the organizers are always women. Maybe a homosexual male will start it with a point and shriek, but 99 times out of 100, the person organizing the lynch mob is going to be a woman. She will sound the alarm and the rest of the coven will arrive, ready to set fire to the wicker man.

The social justice warrior phenomenon is mostly a product of Facebook and Twitter, as these services made it easier for stupid people to get on-line and blast their idiocy worldwide. As a result, unhinged young women now have easy access to a megaphone. Whenever one of them gets the boo-hoos or feels slighted by a man, she can give a couple of blasts on the horn and before long we have #gamergate or some other nonsense controversy.

That’s the most striking feature of the social justice warrior phenomenon. It is young, unattached females. Put #gamegate into a google machine and the third hit is a blog run by a lonely, unstable female. In fact, feminism today is just that, lonely unattached females looking for a purpose to their lives. Instead of snagging  a husband and having kids, they kit themselves out like extras from the freak show and scream at men for not loving them. Instead of tending to children, they talk endlessly about their unused female parts."

Head over to Zman's and read the rest...

A woman is fighting Facebook for posting this, good for her! Facts trigger some folks apparently.

Curt Shilling fired from ESPN for posting the truth, chin up man you done the right thing.

Yet here you are.. lol.

And there goes another one.. I was not a Prince fan per se but someone summed it up quite well; "Prince was part of the soundtrack of my youth"  I do have a few songs of his that rotate through on my car's MP3 player so take that for what you will. Prince Rogers Nelson was a virtuoso composer, showman and player (20+ instruments!) who rarely exists and by all accounts a humble and gracious human being. In the music industry someone as talented AND decent as Prince was as rare as a unicorn. It will be interesting to see what music will be released that was locked in his studio vault in the next few years.

Just phenomenal musical talant.

The boy's CSX is up and running. Been banging away the last 2 days doing wiring repair. 30+ years of neglect and wear and tear... If we are lucky the axles will be in today as well as the shifter and maybe we can put it through the gears while it is on the jackstands. Weather is going to be rough on Tuesday so we will try to get done today what we can..

"I remember one radical feminist, whom I sat next to in a graduate student lounge, lecturing me sternly about how women in the West are oppressed because they wear bikinis on beaches; with a reprimanding tone, she explained to me that this represented the way capitalism objectifies women, marginalizes them from spheres of power, and metaphorically decapitates them as human beings. I remember asking her what she thought of female genital mutilation and honor killings in the Muslim world. To this I received a stone-cold silence and a frightening hateful stare, a stare with which I have become accustomed: I would be confined to a gulag or a psychiatric hospital if this particular individual had the power to place me there. This would be done for the good of society of course. My question was heresy: she could not, naturally, admit that evil adversarial cultures and ideologies existed — under which women truly suffer real oppression — for if she did, then she would have to sacrifice her entire worldview and personal identity. ”— Jamie Glazov on Third Wave Feminism"

Why I have nothing but contempt for the modern feminist and LGBT movement; it has gone from wanting equal rights for women (a laudable goal) to destruction of the west and carve outs for special groups. A gay CEO can proclaim they will not do business in North Carolina due to an "unfair" bathroom law but will do business with the nation of Qatar or Saudi Arabia where they hang gays, toss them off buildings or stone them to death.

Screw you hypocrite, I don't need your product or service to live my life. Once enough people start feeling the same way good luck keeping your business afloat. Several Social Justice Warrior infested companies are already starting to implode from this and all I have to say is... faster please.

http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/262495/facebook-billionaire-living-fortress-condemns-daniel-greenfield

Zuckerberg lives in a fortress with 16 armed guards and has even gone as far to buy the four homes around his house for 30 million.

He calls for open borders while being protected by walls and armed guards.

Screw him.

Open borders for thee but not for me...

Now for something different...

I want you to watch this 7 part series of the making of a Star Wars movie. Trust me you will find it highly amusing and educational! What is really going on though is a class on story telling and film making 101 and you may never watch movies the same way again. Mr. Plinkett (who I would not be the least bit surprised to find out is a film editor) lays out where Lucas screwed up the franchise and more important where he succeeded. He covers story arcs, filming angles, character development, etc. Once you start looking at movies from the angle of a story-teller its easy to spot why some movies go on to be great classics... and others end up in the dustbin of history.

The original Star Wars is nothing more than a classic "good vs evil" tale set in space. It has a beginning-middle-end and you see the arc of its main character (Luke Skywalker) who is just an average joe, slightly whiny farmboy with hopes and dreams that most people can identify with who goes on to be the unexpected hero in the saga after much struggle and misfortune.

Not original nor does it have to be. Look at Deadpool; Bad boy meets girl, they fall in love, bad boy has bad things happen to him, bad boy overcomes bad things, bad boy triumphs in the end. Simple no? I once heard there is no more than seven stories in the world and everything told since worth watching/reading is just a combination of those seven stories and the background details.

Why do I bring these up?

Because of late there have been a number of movies (and other media but I'm focusing on movies for the moment) that ignore these basic principles and try to crowbar "a message" or some propaganda rather than entertain the viewer. The WHOLE POINT of a movie is suppose too be ENTERTAINING THE VIEWER who is PAYING FOR THE EXPERIENCE. If I wanted to be lectured too or preached at I would go to a school, my ex's house or a bad church in that order.

Another example:

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a crap movie. The story makes no sense at all on several levels. Most of the acting is horrible. The characters are 2 dimensional and boring (which makes it hard for you empathize with and become with invested in) with several acting in ways that violate how they acted (universe canon) in the past. Take for example the character Rey: she is boring as shit. A classic "Mary Sue or Mary Stu" character who can do no wrong and master all they touch on the first shot often a wish fulfillment figure. She knows more about the Millennium Falcon than Han does even though she has never been in the vessel or even flown a ship before, can manipulate The Force with zero training (even though she hasn't even seen an example of the Jedi mind trick she succeeds the first time she needs too) and she defeats a saber wielder even though she has zero experience with with a light saber.

Nothing but a classic Social Justice Warrior "girl power" figure that has utterly no grounding in reality. There is no feeling she is in danger, no one can teach her anything and she comes across as a cold and unlikable figure.

And guess what?

They are going to vomit up the same boring SJW grrrrrrl-power character in the next movie. How predictable!

The rest of SW:TFA is littered with glaring crap that makes no sense. If the Rebels have defeated the Empire and they are running things now why is there still a "Rebellion force" run by General Leia 30 years later? It makes no damn sense. Is the First Order in the same solar system as the New Republic and can't find them?? But now we have technology that can track ships all over the galaxy??  Why are they still using x-wings and tie fighters 30 years later? That would be like the US Air Force using Mustangs 30 years after WWII ended. Starkiller base (Death Star III, how original!) shoots energy blasts slower than the speed of light so people can see them slowly travel across the sky? If you kill the sun in the solar system Starkiller base is located doesn't that mean the base is useless after that since there is no longer an energy supply for the gigantic energy cannon?

A lot of theses issues can be laid at the feet of JJ Abrams whose Star Trek reboot movie is rife with glaring issues but at least it has more entertainment value than SW:TFA.

Since were talking movies lets talk about Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice. A clunky movie with a few great set pieces that is crashing and burning in the theaters. You know why its crashing and burning even though Warner Brothers has thrown close to $500,000,000 (yes half a BILLION USD) at it?

Because it is a crap story.

The good- As mentioned there is one or two set pieces that stand out with my favorite being the warehouse scene with Batman, part of which can been viewed above. This is in my opinion the highlight of the whole movie as Batman mows through a gang of criminals. No "shaky cam" or close up "navel cam" like in Batman Begins where you can't see a damn thing. It was beautifully shot and choreographed and you see a Frank Miller style Batman going to town in an awe inspiring display of fighting prowess that shows why Gotham's criminal class hates and fears the caped crusader. The second set piece of note is the fight with Batman vs Superman but it is by far a distant second. Its fairly short and not very inspiring and ends... well in a fairly unrealistic note.

Ben Affleck's Batman is a fairly good rendition of the character even though he is given some clunky dialog and dodgy motivations to work with at times. Ben might have not been the best Bruce Wayne in the whole movie series but as Batman does well. I hear that Ben had a hand in some of the script re-writes and I'm starting to appreciate the man more even though he isn't one of my favorite actors. While he has been in some movies that turned out to be stinkers (Looking at you Pearl Harbor and Gigli) The Town and Good Will Hunting and Dogma were movies I really enjoyed. I'm curious to see if the Affleck written and directed upcoming Batman movie will be a step up from this mess. Jeremy Irons was an excellent Alfred to Affleck's Bruce Wayne persona.

Gal Godot's Wonder Woman was another high spot of the movie: The costume design was bang on, the action was great but the character also had some dialog which was a bit chunky in spots but was largely ok.

The bad- Superman is a brooding and angst ridden fellow who is wooden as a plank of pine. Some of this can be laid at Henry Cavill's feet and some can be laid at director Zack Snyder's. In Henry's defense I liked (but didn't love) his work in the rebooted Man From UNCLE and Superman: Man of Steel was an interesting origin movie I have seen a few times. There is just something not quite right with his portrayal of the man of steel that has been done better by other actors even though he looks the part. Superman has traditionally been a guy who has "done the right thing," mindful of his power, humble and positive and in this movie comes across as rather dickish and grim. His motivations for clashing with Batman are flimsy and baffling at best. In this universe (which has Gotham across the bay from Metropolis, figure that one out!) Batman has been well established for 20 years when Superman arrives on the scene, you think he would at least pop in for a friendly chat but nooooooooo. He sticks his oar right in Batman's business telling him he needs to retire ASAP without so much as asking why things are they way they are.

Ol'Supes can break a fellows neck without due process and be involved with a brawl that kills thousands if not millions world wide (not to mention the billions upon billions in property damage) but Batman beating the shit out of criminals caught in the act? That just won't do. Is it any wonder Batman has his eye on Superman for motivation in this movie? The guy is a one man wrecking ball.

To sum up the movie- Lots of stuff happens "just because." Don't ask why Lex is trying to pit man against the other, again weak explanations. Don't ask why Superman hasn't meet Batman before, even though Batman has been around for 20 years and right across the bay. It would be childs play to find him if inclined to do so. Hell just fly over to Gotham and pull up a lawnchair on a roof with a sign that says "Batman lets do lunch" I'm sure Batman would get in touch with the worlds most famous alien. Don't ask where Wonder Woman has been the last 5000 years. Don't ask what her real motivations are (the one explained was rather weak). Don't ask why the space ship accepts Lex's fake finger prints while ignoring his physical description, alien makeup or even when Zod's body is brought on board. You think the computer would go "Hey how can they guy who logged in be standing there while his body in on the floor!"

Don't ask, don't ask, don't ask. Just enjoy the spectacle.

Several other items feel shoe-horned into the movie like references to Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. The dream scene with the Flash I thought was fairly good and "organic" and might have even reinforced Batman's motivation for confronting Superman if you will while the the "laptop files" scene felt forced and out of place. The dialog at the end between Bruce and Diana on the subject felt contrived and flimsy. I understand that they are trying to setup a DC universe and Justice League but by God why don't you hire someone who can do dialog and come up with convincing motivations for people? Most of the dialog in the movie was just.. pathetic.

On Lex Luther I have no particular opinion, he just seemed a bit of a lunatic. The classic Luther was an intelligent schemer and a bit power mad.

This Luther is just a bit of a nutcase.

My advice is to wait till it comes out on Netflicks. I hear they are going to release a 3 hour extended version, perhaps some intrepid editor will recut the movie and release a 90 minute version with most of the worst bits left on the cutting room floor.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-04-07/facebook-said-to-face-decline-in-people-posting-personal-content

"Facebook Inc. is working to combat a decline in people sharing original, personal content, the fuel that helps power the money machine at the heart of its social network, according to people familiar with the matter."

People starting to flee Facebook because they are figuring out that its like inviting a creepy stalker into your house that steals and sells yours personal information? Get out of town! Who would have thought!

"Zuckerberg on Tuesday did a video address to Facebook users encouraging them to post live video of whatever they want, noting that even mundane activities like getting a haircut can be entertaining when they’re in the moment."

I can smell the flopsweat from here.

"More than five million people watched."

Out of 1.6 billion alleged users? Sounds like it was a raging success. Not.  Die faster please.

Welcome to the end of March edition...

1) The boys CSX has a drivetrain in it now! Not much else in the way of progress but its a start. I have a bunch of wiring to repair and chase down a bunch of little parts this week.

2) Been working out the last few weeks and watching what I eat, good progress there. Feeling much less stressed out.

Not much else going on.. still wrapping up loose ends and a few side projects, hoping to get started on the Dart soon.

Decent article over at The Other McCain, take notes young men!

Amy Schumer Will Tell You What to Think (And You Must Comply)

The money quote:

"Permit me to explain, to any clueless young men who might read this, that women are keenly aware that they are judged by their looks. Whether she is thin or fat, pretty or plain, there is no such thing as a woman who is not conscious of her own appearance, and who does not have some general sense of where she ranks in the hierarchy of attractiveness. A reasonably good-looking woman, by the time she’s 18 or 19, knows exactly why the guy she meets at a party or in a bar is so eager to talk to her. And here is your cosmic thunderbolt of eternal truth, young man: Women are extremely judgmental.

Trust me when I tell you this, young man. Do not ever imagine that you can evade a woman’s radar in terms of what she wants. One way to be a loser is to waste your time trying to overcome a woman’s instantaneous default “no.” You could spend years arguing with losers on pickup artist (PUA) forums about tactics, but you are never going to change human nature. Every woman’s default response is “no,” and if you can’t cope with rejection — if you don’t learn to walk away the minute she signals disinterest — you are squandering valuable time and energy.

Some guys (the upper 10% or 15% of overall attractiveness) can score reliably enough in almost any pickup scenario that they don’t really need “tactics” at all. What the rest of you fellows must learn is to stop wasting time trying to convert a “no” to a “yes,” or brooding over your failures. Guys, if you’re at a frat party, when you approach a girl, understand this: She has sized you up — evaluating you in terms of your desirability — before you even say a word to her. Therefore, if her response to your opening line is not a total green-light reaction, take it in stride and move on. Just remember there are 3.5 billion women on this planet.

Maintain your cool, young man. Don’t flip out, don’t get angry, and don’t let yourself become demoralized by the fact that this girl shot you down. Just keep on blowing down the road, Mister Breeze."

Exactly so, just 'effing walk away. No reason to put up with that shit and if enough guys start doing it then perhaps their clue phone will start to ring.

Ironically enough this is starting to play out more and more in real time, good. Modern feminism is nothing but a sham and a farce that does no good.

Post Jihad gesture theater; sick of it

Michelle Malkin nails it. Top posting cute pictures saying "Oh I'm sorry your "x" got killed by for some inexplicable reason" and start killing the bastards responsible for the bombings.

Facebook spying continues...

Facebook has a new little known software that monitors your profile chat and pictures for criminal activity. Facebook most likely wants to keep this software secret since most people do not think fondly of someone rummaging around their private messages and photos looking for criminal activities. Also how far is this system willing to go and will they soon pursue minor crimes or even thought crime?

Stop. Using. Facebook.

The boys CSX progresses.. might have an engine in this weekend.

3/20/16

Quote of the day- "there is a difference between crumbling before opposition and realizing that your efforts will be a waste of time because the people you're trying to help do not want your help."

No kidding. Been there and done that.

First day of spring and we are expecting a snow storm!

I don't think those casters are going to be covered under warranty.

Pretty much and they don't have a clue.

When the burning times arrived they will be helpless.

Competent people generally don't run for office, hence the problem.

To this day they own slaves.

Useful idiots.

Things are going to get ugly in the next year, the backlash has started.

My wife laughed like hell.

3/7/16

Happy Birthday!

My GTX when I was young (primer) and as it is now (blue), a metaphor which I thought was a nice touch.

My friends and family surprised me this weekend with a birthday party, I was astounded! I'm not big on being fussed over and was blown away by the cake that my best friends wife made for the occasion.

I have started working out again after a 10 year hiatus. Ouch. Already my blood pressure is 10 points lower and I have lost 15 pounds in the past month.

Rest in peace Mrs. Reagan, you were a class act.

3/4/16

Roll with the updates...

1) Work on the boy's CSX continues.. slowly. The head has been repaired and last night we changed out all the guide seals and replaced the seals on the front of the motor. While we had the intermediate shaft notice the bearing was shot! Of course. Replaced the bearing and buttoned everything up. Hopefully this weekend we will have the engine assembled after cleaning the intake and installing along with the turbocharger. Boys still need to sand and crinkle finish a valve cover.

2) Caught a live comedy show at Foxwoods the past week, Bill Burr is freaking hilarious. Great show with friends!

3) Did I mention they had a going away party for me at work? Was very nice, I was touched and frankly embarrassed over the fuss.

4) The new job is doing well; less stress and aggravation if less money. At the moment I'm building aerial lift vehicles which is interesting as there is lots of fabrication involved. In the top photo you can see what we start with (the frame for the lift has already been attached and we were a few minutes away from painting it. In the lower photo you can see where the unit is fully functional. Very cool learning experience!

2/14/16

Ross Douthat summed up the man well: "We should all die full of years, with 28 grandchildren, in our sleep after quail hunting."

A dark day in liberty indeed, this does not bode well for America.

Rest in peace my friend, you fought the good fight and will be sorely missed.

2/6/16

(Ronaldus Magnus)

Ronald Reagan would have been 105 years old today, just as well he is not around as I'm sure he would weep as to what his beloved nation has become.

Listen in, well worth your time.

How does that work? If I squint it looks like redistribution of wealth.

It sure is rigged fauxahontas, it sure is. Never seen an indian with blue eyes before.

All you need to know summed up in one picture.

A moocher who has never had a paycheck till he was 40 is going to tell you how to run things.

Liberalism is a mental illness.

It still doesn't make sense to me.

1/26/16

The boys CSX- Still plugging away at it. A bunch of gaskets and seals came in the mail this week but things have slowed to a crawl due to a flu like bug that is making the rounds through the school systems. A snowstorm this weekend past did not help things either! Currently I have the cylinder head on the bench and apart as I found 2 guides falling out the head. I made up a tool to drive them out and back in with sealer but one of the guides was offset and didn't notice before driving it out. I tried rotating it a few times without success. Since I could not get a good valve seal I'm just going to replace the guide with a new unit with a snap ring and then pop over to a machinist to have the seat trued up.

On the employment front I only have about 2 more weeks at my current employer before we part company. The last few years have been great and I did a lot of good things there and it is with some regret that it is time to move on.

Too soon? I do have a dark sense of humor.

Funny Democrats are importing so many who would treat women as slaves or worse.

Whiners the lot of them.

Will Smith's wife is an excretable actress who would not be an actress if she wasn't married to Will Smith. The episodes of Gotham that featured her were vomit inducing and things picked up nicely when they removed her character. Please woman, go dry your tears with the 100 dollar bills that are rained down upon you and STFU. Even your husband is a mediocre talent at best. Idris Elba or Denzel Washington are far better actors in my opinion. . Morgan Freeman also gets a nod as does Eddie Murphy in his prime... Tower Heist was rather enjoyable and you could see the Eddie of old peeking out time to time.

1/19/16

And there goes another one.

I never was a huge Eagles fan (though I did have The Long Run on 8 track no less and it was a good album) but like the Beatles who I didn't particularly like either acknowledge the impact they had on the music industry. Glenn Frey was one of those guys I liked a few of his individual songs but not the whole catalog. The Heat is On, You Belong to the City and Smugglers Blues were all favorites and perhaps since I came of age in the 80's prefer the latter to the former. You know you are getting old when all the names you grew up with are starting to pass away one by one..

Celebrities like Glen Frey, Lennie of Motorhead, David Bowie and Alan Rickman all were guys who put their pants on one leg at a time in the morning just like anyone else but enriched our daily lives a bit while doing what they loved doing. Not a bad way to go through life.. and bless those who didn't let their fame and fortune go to their heads.

Godspeed my friends, Godspeed.

Home today, darn kids gave me a cold.

CSX #561 page updated with a picture... boys making slow progress.

So long Major Tom... another icon from my youth passes away.

Sooner or later.. remember that life is short and the clock on the wall is ticking away the minutes you have left.

Time is not your friend but a stalker who sooner or later comes to collect its victim, make the most of your time here.

Outstanding.

January 2016

Minor updates to Rampage page.

January 2016

John C. Wright- "But the purpose of the specialization is also difficult to deny: children need both a father-figure to mete out justice and fight for the family against the world, winning bread and slaying foes, and need a mother-figure to quench the thirst for mercy and nurture the family within the home."

Quite so and well said.

January 2016

Happy New Years everyone! Roll on with the updates..

1) There will now be a "family rides" section as my wife now owns a turbo Rampage and my sons are now assembling a 87 CSX #561. The car is from Nick in Long Island and he owned it since 1993. As he was pressed for space he was going to strip it for parts but I was able to step in and make an offer on it complete. I need to swap a few parts with my CSX to bring it up a bit and then the car belongs to the boys. Details to follow on their own page..

2) The '98 Ram is starting to show its age. Last week I had to rebuild the rear and put new tires on it finally. The body is starting to show rot (both rockers are crunchy) and were going to replace them... but the trans is starting to act funky and its getting crusty underneath. I'm going to have to start giving thought to replacing the old girl in a another year or two. Its been a great truck but with 163k on the clock its age is starting to show. In a decade of ownership it has only had a muffler, 2 calipers, intake gasket, heater core and a/c evaporator, not too shabby at all.

3) Challenger, CSX, GTX, Duster, Satellite have seen no changes the last few months. Been getting ready for winter so there wasn't a lot of time after the Cecil event with the CSX to do much fooling about with cars aside from Faith's Rampage... which is still ongoing.

4) Waiting to hear back from fabricator about the Reliant's roll cage.. hopefully it will be dropped off in the next month.

Aside from that I have a rotted Shelby Daytona to dispose of before the snow flies and I should start pulling apart a Dart 4-dr too. I'm going to need parts off the Dart to assemble my own 2-dr Dart. I think I'm going to be busy with the boys the next month though..

Picture dump 2016

Amen.

Pretty much how I view some folks.

Because I never miss a chance to poke F.B. in the eyeball.

Trump continues to make ground, God bless him.

Ah yes. The most incompetent woman ever continues her run for the presidency.

She should be in irons and an orange perp suit.

Because feminism continues to circle the drain.

It is clear by now its not about being treated as equal to men but destroying western mens place in culture.

You want equality? Then I demand women join selective service.

I demand woman take jobs that are done by men, make it mandatory 50%.

Trash haulers. Pipeline workers. Brick layers. House builders. Ship fitters.

Oh I see. They don't want to do those things.

I see very well.

And these are people you are inviting to the west, how is that going to work out?

Funny eh?

Useful idiots.

Speaking of idiots.... Why don't you move there Mike?

Made me laugh. Crap movie. Very sad.

Because you should always leave on a humorous note.
